ABE Mexico Joins ABE Program
We are pleased to announce that the ABE Program has landed in Mexico. Hosted by Fundación EDUCA, ABE Mexico will be implemented in middle schools in Mexico City and the state of Morelos, where it will serve low-income students. The program is set to start at four schools with almost 500 students! The program will be led by Site Director Nancy Perez, Site Coordinator Viridiana Martinez, and Lab Technician Natalia Mayen.
In addition. ABE Mexico is partnering with The Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - Iztapalapa, one of the most recognized public universities in Mexico City. The university's biotechnology department will make available the laboratory space and equipment for the program and will be responsible for the safekeeping of materials and reagents.
